Online Sacramental Prep Certification

Even though meeting in person is either not possible or limited, it is important to continue preparing Catholics to receive the sacraments. Our online certification courses assure parishes that need to prepare parents for the baptism of their child and couples for marriage have:

  • Viewed all session videos
  • Demonstrated an understanding of the material through the assessment
  • Completed the activities required for completion of the course

Our online certification courses are free through June 30, 2020. We encourage parish leaders to take this time to review Belonging: Baptism in the Family of God and Joy-Filled Marriage and direct parents and engaged couples to get certified now.

Free Online Sacramental Preparation

Free Online Marriage Certification Course

Parishes need to continue preparing couples for marriage, no matter what the future holds. This is why Ascension has created our new Joy-Filled Marriage Certification Course, available for free as a special limited-time offer.

Joy-Filled Marriage offers a comprehensive approach to marriage preparation that covers not only the sacramentality and theology of marriage but also the practical life skills necessary to live out the rich Catholic vision of marriage. For this offering, you can trust couples certified through the course have:

Free Online Baptism Certification Course

Amid the current social distancing requirements, parishes need a simple way to continue preparing parents for their child’s baptism. This is why Ascension is pleased to offer our new Belonging: Baptism in the Family of God Certification Course for free as a special limited-time offer.

Belonging: Baptism in the Family of God seeks to provide parents with an opportunity to encounter Jesus and his Church as they prepare for their child’s baptism. Through six session videos and a video on the Rite of Baptism, parents will learn what it means to be a child of God and discover that the Church is their family, a place where they belong. For this offering, you can trust parents certified through the course have:

  • Viewed all seven program videos
  • Demonstrated an understanding of the material through the assessment
  • Completed the activities required for completion of the course
